Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an AWS Software Engineer III-Full Stack to join the Transformative AI Team. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable applications across the stack, contributing to innovative solutions for clients'' trust and estate needs.

You will work in an agile environment, applying modern technologies and best practices to ensure high-quality software and continual improvements, while growing your skills within the role.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling.
• Advanced Java skills with Java 11+, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Intermediate familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Strong coding fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with SDLC and agile practices like CI/CD, resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting for Transformative AI applications.
• Write secure, high-quality code using Java and React, with limited guidance.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, with peer review and testing.
• Incorporate SDLC tools to enhance automation and stability.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Analyze data from diverse sources to drive continuous improvement of software.
• Identify and solve technical problems, contributing to system architecture and coding hygiene.
• Collaborate with team members to foster diversity, inclusion, and respect.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and events.
