Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Colorado Springs to design, develop, and maintain Java-based software for the C2BMC Global system. You will work in a distributed, mission-critical environment, providing support from analysis through testing and deployment.

The role requires a current Top Secret clearance and on-site work with no remote options. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and improve system performance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 5 years of experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or 9 years equivalent experience.
Active Top Secret clearance required to start; government-issued clearance must be in-scope.
Proficiency in Java and design, develop, test, and troubleshoot in a distributed, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software for the C2BMC Global system in a large, distributed environment.
Provide in-depth analysis and support for a large Java codebase, including debugging and testing.
Collaborate with systems engineering, test, cyber, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
