Job summary

Luxoft in Texas is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Java developer to maintain and enhance backend and web-based applications for our trading platform.

In this role, you will design, develop, and test backend services, collaborating with frontend teams to ensure performance and reliability in an Agile environment. Strong Java 21, Spring Boot, REST, and SQL skills are required with fintech exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services and web applications in an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to design, development, and implementation of backend services and web applications.
• Writes clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering practices.
• Participates in technical design discussions and collaborates with senior engineers and architects.
• Works closely with frontend developers to integrate backend services with UI components.
• Supports troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of applications.
