Job summary

Luxoft in Irving, TX is seeking an accomplished Senior Java engineer to build and modernize financial data platforms. You will develop features for web and backend services, and prototype new ideas for microservices and cloud deployments.

The role requires deep Java, Spring, and database skills, plus hands-on Linux and CI/CD experience. You'll work in a collaborative team driving reliability and scalable architectures in a banking data environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial Java SE/EE development experience.
Deep Spring (Boot, IoC, MVC, Security) knowledge.
Strong SQL skills, Oracle databases.
Experience with Servlet containers and application servers (Tomcat/WebLogic).
CI/CD experience with TeamCity or Jenkins.
Proficient Linux scripting with Bash.

Responsibilities

Develop business and technical features for old and new applications.
Prototype ideas and rewrite legacy components with Spring Cloud and microservices.
Configure and maintain Windows and Linux environments.
Integrate components with internal and external client systems.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic).
Monitor applications and logs (ELK, Autosys).
Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Design distributed, scalable microservices architectures.
