Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas is seeking a Senior Digital Software Engineer to design, develop, and test complex financial applications leveraging cloud, microservices, and modern DevOps practices. You will work with onshore/offshore teams to translate user stories into scalable software aligned with the Digital architecture roadmap.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, SpringBoot, REST APIs, container platforms, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, Microservices/APIs, and private cloud platforms.
• Experience with SpringBoot, RESTful services, JSON, and containerized platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to analyze user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically feasible.
• Translate user stories into solutions that provide an excellent client experience and align with Digital’s architectural roadmap.
• Prepare detailed technical designs that account for security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Code, test, debug, implement, and support complex financial applications.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore resources, ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement validation.
