Zusammenfassung

MO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs to modernize critical systems and deliver mission-ready software for millions of Veterans and caregivers.

You will collaborate across product, design, AI, data, and software engineering teams, participate in Agile/Scrum workflows, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–8 years of software development experience in professional environment.
• Strong hands on experience with Java development.
• Hands on experience developing REST APIs and web services.
• Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues
• Support enhancements and sustainment activities for applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, Oracle, and related technologies
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database integrations
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and application deployments
• Developing and maintaining backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, and REST APIs.
