Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java software development for product applications.
• 6+ years designing and operating highly scalable software systems.
• Deep understanding of OOP design principles for high-performance systems.
• Experience with API best practices and REST service development.
• Relational database design and query optimization at scale.
• Experience with client-server and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop large-scale software applications in Java and Kotlin.
• Commit code and ship enterprise-grade software in a startup environment.
• Debug and profile production Java services and optimize performance.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and participate in architecture decisions.
• Document architecture and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate across backend, infra, and product teams for reliability.
