HeroDevs, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Software Engineer specializing in Java to join our Never-Ending Support team. You will help deliver new products and advance our platform while ensuring availability and security across products.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based solutions, contributing to platform components, and collaborating with open-source contributors, security experts, and internal stakeholders to expand customer technology choices.

Qualifications

• Backend development primarily in Java (Spring, Quarkus, Hibernate, Struts, etc).
• Experience with Java build/deploy tools (Maven, Gradle, etc).
• Experience building secure, scalable SDLC infrastructure (build/test/deploy).
• Curiosity and drive to become proficient with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software using popular frameworks like Spring.
• Contribute to platform components and collaborate with open-source contributors and security experts.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security using best practices and modern dev techniques.
• Participate in architectural decisions and help set long-term technical direction.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features aligned with business goals.
• Write clean, well-documented code and follow industry best practices.
• Stay current with emerging tech and methodologies to improve development processes.
• Leverage frontier models and agentic coding tools as part of the workflow.
