Job summary

Neumo seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer for Product Support. You will troubleshoot a complex Java-based court-case platform, bridging legacy modules to modern services and guiding the stack toward Spring MVC and cloud-native approaches.

You will work across production support, ESB integrations, and external e-filing vendors, delivering robust fixes and strategic improvements for high-stakes workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years professional Java development experience.
• 5+ years with Spring Framework (Core, MVC).
• 5+ years with Hibernate/JPA and SQL experience.
• 5+ years building SOAP/REST services (SOAP/REST).
• 2+ years with JMS/ActiveMQ and ESB/integration middleware.
• Experience with e-filing standards (ECF/EFM) and vendor integrations.
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve production issues across a multi-tier Java app.
• Investigate and fix defects in ESB integration with third-party systems.
• Trace issues in XML/XSLT, JMS, and web service calls to root causes.
• Collaborate with QA, support, and product teams to triage issues.
• Write root-cause analyses and remediation plans for cross-system bugs.
• Contribute to modernization from legacy Struts/JSP toward Spring MVC.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
