Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 5+ years with the Spring Framework (Core, MVC).
• 5+ years with Hibernate or other JPA ORM.
• 5+ years hands-on SQL with debugging and performance tuning.
• 5+ years building or maintaining SOAP/REST web services.
• 2+ years with message-oriented middleware (JMS/ActiveMQ).
• Experience with ESB/integration middleware (Mule, Camel).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
• Prior experience in legal tech, court systems, or government software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve production issues across a multi-tier Java application.
• Investigate and fix defects in ESB integration with third-party systems.
• Trace issues in XML/XSLT, JMS, and SOAP/REST calls to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with QA/support/product teams to reproduce and triage issues.
• Write root-cause analyses and remediation plans for complex bugs.
• Contribute to modernization of legacy components (Struts/JSP to Spring MVC).
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
