Job summary

Man Group is seeking a Senior Java Engineer for the Numeric OMT team to build and maintain the Order Management System that underpins the systematic investment process. You will work closely with traders, quants, and operations to deliver a robust, scalable OMS capable of handling millions of orders annually.

The role involves exposure to cash equities, equity swaps, and futures across listed and OTC markets, with opportunities to advance within Man Front Office Technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java experience in an enterprise web application context.
• Experience with microservice architectures and libraries such as Spring Boot, Micronaut.
• Front-end tech stack includes CSS, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, and modern JS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Order Management System underpinning the systematic investment process.
• Collaborate with trading desk, quants and operations to enable scalable, robust order processing.
