Job summary
IAMUS Consulting is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based software capabilities for complex computer-based systems. You will work with a small, dynamic team to deliver robust solutions for diverse clients, staying current with the latest tools and technologies.
The role requires strong Java experience, RESTful APIs, microservices, and a track record of mentoring others. You will operate in a hybrid Augusta, GA environment addressing fast-paced project demands
Qualifications
- Clearance requirement noted for government work.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java.
- Experience designing enterprise APIs and RESTful services.
- Experience with microservices architecture and OOP.
- Experience with agile software lifecycle and leading teams.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and mentor others.
- Experience with Linux and common CI/CD tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop Java-based software capabilities.
- Integrate AI agentic workflows and tooling as applicable.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver robust software solutions.
