Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to the Quest Diagnostics Patient Reporting Service. You will collaborate with business, technology, and architecture teams to understand requirements and develop cutting-edge web-based reporting services in the cloud.

The role requires 8–10 years of software engineering experience, strong Java expertise, and hands-on cloud migration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java with Spring/Hibernate experience.
• REST API development expertise.
• Experience with Drools rules engines.
• Enterprise Java apps (EJB/JMS) and WebLogic.
• Hands-on cloud migration to cloud-native architectures.
• Containerization with Kubernetes/Docker.
• Databases: Oracle and MySQL.
• Data formats: JSON/HL7/XML.
• Agile/DevSecOps practices; Git/Jira usage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Leverage industry trends to build best-in-class technology.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Document changes and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Ensure operational efficiency to meet SLAs and customer commitments.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed apps.
