Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices.
• 3+ years Apache Kafka experience.
• 3+ years CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• 3+ years Docker and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop high‑performance microservices using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Lead development of event‑driven services using Apache Kafka.
• Own API strategy for RESTful services with backward‑compatible versioning.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards and code reviews.
• Design ETL pipelines and data migration efforts for cloud transitions.
• Build CI/CD automation and secure DevOps practices.
• Implement observability, tracing, and alerting across services.
• Integrate microservices with EHR formats (FHIR, HL7) and healthcare data flows.
