Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a hands-on Staff Software Development Engineer to join a high-energy team transforming the digital experience of pharmacy and health care. You will design, build and deploy cloud-native applications and services, collaborating with architects, product owners and clinical partners to deliver scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software delivery, deep Java/Spring experience, and a proven ability to lead teams across on-site and offshore groups while
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software development lifecycle from ideation to production deployments.
- 7+ years with Java, Spring, JUnit, APIs using Spring Boot and microservices.
- 3+ years supporting healthcare clinical applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes, DevOps tools and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and work with engineers onsite and offshore to deliver use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and code quality.
- End-to-end app development including deployment, observability, and integration with major EHR systems.
- Build apps and web services using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
- Implement CI/CD with GitHub, CircleCI, Harness.
- Monitor health and KPIs, triage production issues.
- Implement security best practices.
- Partner with Product owners and clinical partners for solutions.
