Job summary

TechDigital Group in Secaucus, NJ seeks an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the Reporting Service, collaborating with business, technology, and architecture teams to design, develop, and implement cloud-based reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate has deep Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and hands-on experience with REST, cloud-native migrations, containers (Kubernetes/Docker), and database skills with Oracle and MySQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in Java programming language including frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate etc.
• Expertise in REST API development.
• Proficiency in implementing java rules engines such as Drools.
• Proficiency in Enterprise java applications using EJB, JMS and server-side programming. Hands on experience with WebLogic application server.
• Proficiency in migrating on-prem applications to cloud-native applications
• Expertise in implementing scalable containerized computing and solutions for example Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Good hands-on experience working with Oracle & MySql DB.
• Proficiency in data formats such as JSON, HL7, and XML
• Agile Development, DevSecOps, and standard software development tools such as Git and Jira
• Deep technical knowledge of 1 public cloud services (preferably Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
