Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications in a remote setting. You will work on Java-based systems, mentor teammates, and help shape architectural direction.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, drive API strategies with REST and messaging, and contribute to cloud migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise applications.
• Experience building REST, SOAP APIs and messaging services.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software in complex environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support APIs and integration services utilizing REST, SOAP, and MQ technologies.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on in development.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring activities.
• Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
• Help drive long-term application strategy, performance improvements, and future enhancements.
