Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and advance enterprise Java applications in a remote-capable role. You will lead technical efforts while actively coding and mentoring teammates.

You'll work with Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud platforms to modernize critical systems within a collaborative Agile environment. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support APIs and integration services utilizing REST, SOAP, and MQ technologies.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in software development.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring activities.
• Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
• Help drive long‑term application strategy, performance improvements, and future enhancements.
