Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Remote) to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud services. You will mentor teammates while contributing hands-on coding and architectural direction.

You will develop REST and SOAP APIs, participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead migration and modernization efforts across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing applications with Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Experience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, and messaging technologies.
• Background delivering enterprise-scale software solutions in complex environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide technical direction while remaining hands-on.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support APIs and integration services utilizing REST, SOAP, and MQ technologies.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in software development.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
