Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (Remote) to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will mentor team members, contribute to architecture, and drive modernization initiatives.

You will build and support APIs and integration services using REST, SOAP, and MQ, collaborate with business and technology teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing enterprise applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building APIs with REST, SOAP, and messaging technologies.
• Proven leadership while remaining hands-on and collaborative.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support APIs and integration services utilizing REST, SOAP, and MQ technologies.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in software development.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.
