Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native services. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership in a remote setting.

You'll own API development (REST, SOAP, MQ), mentor engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and guide cloud migration strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Experience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, and MQ.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software in complex environments.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
