NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement scalable solutions for the IT Operations product suite. You will develop high-quality software that serves millions of endpoints and servers in a cloud environment.

The role requires Java/Kotlin expertise and a strong background in building scalable, data-driven systems. You will work with a stack including Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang and Postgres, and contribute from a flexible remote position across the USA, with optional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience in Java software development for product applications; Kotlin expertise preferred.
• 4+ years experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience building systems at scale and solving scalability challenges.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development (Jersey or Spring).
• Relational database design and development experience.
• Experience creating both client and server-side development for responsive messaging.
• Caching systems expertise; Redis experience is a plus.
• Quality testing practices and test-driven development awareness.

Responsibilities
