Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. You will work with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software and stay current with emerging AI agentic workflows.

The role involves hybrid work with on-site options at our Columbia, MD area and Ft. Meade locations, and requires a strong background in Java, RESTful services, and microservices. A current U.S.

Qualifications

• Nine plus (9+) years experience in Software Engineering with Java frameworks (e.g. Spring)
• Strong working knowledge of Java-based software development
• Experience with enterprise APIs, RESTful services, and microservices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with latest developments and AI agentic workflows (Claude Code, Gemini).
• Work in a fast-paced, small business environment; adapt to schedule changes.
