Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a skilled Enterprise Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based capabilities for complex systems. You will work with a team of engineers, applying modern frameworks and AI agents to enhance features and automated testing, while maintaining high quality and security standards.

The role offers partial telework in a fast-paced, small business environment; Fort Meade, MD site visits and HQ travel are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Java development experience and API design.
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices architectures.
• Proven track record as tech lead, mentor, or manager for engineering teams.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with on-site days in Fort Meade, MD.
• Familiarity with AI tools and autonomous agent workflows in daily development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver robust software solutions that meet client needs.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance across projects.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends; apply them where appropriate.
• Ensure security, performance, and architectural alignment when reviewing agent-generated code.
