Job summary

Confidential Company, a progressive investment management firm, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement GenAI-enabled solutions for portfolio implementation. You will work across the full stack to convert investment decisions into live market trades, collaborating with PMs and analysts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, a passion for AI-driven engineering, and onsite presence in Boston four days a week.

Qualifications

• Must have a personal GitHub repository showing passion for AI-enabled apps.
• 5+ years of Java software experience in an investment management context.
• Comfortable with the SDLC and tools like Jira, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, VS Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ.
• Experience at an investment management firm actively buying and selling stock.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Onsite work four days a week in Boston, MA; visa sponsorship is possible for qualified US candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components across web, mobile, desktop, and platform services.
• Partner with business teams to translate needs into requirements and test plans.
• Leverage GenAI tools to push the boundaries of development within investment management.
• Support portfolio management systems that convert investment decisions into live trades.
