Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior AI Developer to help modernize its Broker-Dealer Systems and core technology infrastructure. The role focuses on enterprise Java development, cloud-native architectures, and AI/ML technologies, leveraging generative AI tools to boost engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to build high-volume, mission-critical financial systems that support millions of clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring, cloud technologies, and web services.
• 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML implementation and production deployment experience.
• Experience with microservices, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or PCF).
• Experience working with Large Language Models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
• Experience with system modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of broker-dealer operations or financial services platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications and microservices in cloud environments.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Large Language Models.
• Lead modernization efforts from legacy platforms to distributed, cloud-native architectures.
• Build and implement AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Champion CI/CD, automation, code quality, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, high-transaction systems.
• Mentor engineers and establish standards for AI-enabled software development.
