Job summary

Apexon is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Mechanicsburg, PA to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will develop and consume REST APIs, optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, and collaborate with QA, analysts and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred as you contribute to cloud-based enterprise solutions, working with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring boot and microservices.
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and SQL/Stored Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise scale Java applications.
• Develop robust backend solutions using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop Microservices based applications.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement scalable application components and services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
• Collaborate with database teams to integrate backend with relational databases.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
