Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an experienced CM/ECF software developer to join our AOUSC PDO team in Washington, DC or remote. You will work on enterprise‑class software across CM/ECF, PPS, and National Applications portfolios using Java/Spring Boot, JSP/Servlets, RESTful services, and modern Web tech.

You’ll operate in an agile environment, contribute to SDLC improvements, and collaborate with architects to ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with judiciary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of enterprise‑grade Java/J2EE development in a web environment.
• Expert level Java development experience.
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat).
• Experience with JSP and Servlets or JSF.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
• Experience in Spring Framework.
• Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines.
• SQL and ORM experience (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience in agile environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Git or distributed source control experience.
• Knowledge of Federal IT security guidelines and Section 508 accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an agile team to deliver full lifecycle software development including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code meeting requirements with strong performance and customer focus.
• Incorporate best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Update and maintain system design documents.
• Review functional and technical requirements and provide feedback.
• Define and propose solutions to meet requirements.
• Contribute to SDLC improvements through practices like TDD, code reviews, CI/CD, and security scanning.
• Collaborate with solutions architects to align with industry best practices and judiciary standards.
• Invest in learning and cross‑office software development efficiency through teamwork and training.
