Qualifications

• Must be AWS Certified.
• Strong hands-on experience in full stack development with back-end services and microservices.
• Experience communicating with business stakeholders.
• Experience taking ownership of code changes to meet user needs with a user-centric mindset.
• 7+ years of Java/J2EE (Java 19 or higher).
• 7+ Spring Boot experience building backend applications and models.
• REST APIs / Microservices.
• Angular 19+.
• 5+ years of AWS experience with ECS and ECR.
• 2+ years of Oracle 19 or PostgreSQL with SQL knowledge.
• Experience in federal Agile environments with Rally or Jira.
• Terraform and Gitlab pipeline configuration.
• Node / NPM.
• Gradle / Maven.
• Gitlab Runner, Docker.
• Junit and Karma testing frameworks.
• REST Web Services.
• Experience with Single Sign On / Okta.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize applications, including migration to cloud environments.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams using Rally to manage user stories in 3-week sprints.
• Analyze and implement user stories to meet requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests to ensure performance and UX.
• Enforce unit testing and code coverage standards before commits/merges in GitLab.
• Implement and maintain reusable components to improve development efficiency and UX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies and complete sprint tasks with minimal defects.
• Demonstrate completed work and incorporate feedback each sprint.
• Monitor communications and resolve defects before production release.
• Share knowledge to mentor teammates and strengthen team capability.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Create and execute test plans with thorough coverage and traceability.
• Conduct performance tests to identify bottlenecks.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and gaps in coverage.
