Eliassen Group is seeking a seasoned Java Developer for a remote contract role. You will manage Java and Java EE application development across the full SDLC, contributing from concept to testing, with a W2 employment arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires 10+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, AWS deployment skills, and strong knowledge of Terraform, Java EE, and Hibernate/JPA. This is a remote, contract opportunity with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java and Spring Boot hands-on development experience.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience with Java EE platforms and Hibernate/JPA.

Responsibilities

• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces for internet and intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets and complete programming using appropriate languages and software products.
• Design and conduct tests.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
