Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a seasoned Java Developer for remote contract work with a strong focus on Java/Java EE and Spring Boot. You will contribute across the full SDLC, including design, development, and testing, while leveraging cloud services and microservices patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java and Spring Boot hands-on experience.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS and using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Java EE platforms and ORM (JPA/Hibernate).
• Familiar with microservices, DDD, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Define site objectives by analyzing requirements and envisioning system features.
• Design and develop user interfaces across web applications and services.
• Determine design methodologies and implement using Java tooling.
• Design and conduct tests and troubleshoot across environments.
• Create technical documentation and user assistance materials.
