Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Developer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and GraphQL. You’ll work with architects, product owners, and DevOps to build secure, high-performing enterprise solutions and leverage AI through LLMs and Copilot.

Hybrid work with 3+ days on-site in Hopkins, MN or Irving, TX. 6–10 years’ enterprise dev experience, strong Java/Spring proficiency, and microservices expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of enterprise app development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on microservices design and deployment experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway, GraphQL.
• Experience with Microsoft GitHub Copilot or LP-based development concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Build secure, high-performance APIs and integration services.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cloud-native and AI-assisted practices.
