Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Developer to design and deliver cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, GraphQL, and AI-assisted tooling.

You will work with architects, product owners, DevOps, and stakeholders to build secure, scalable software and drive innovation with LLMs and GitHub Copilot. Hybrid work is supported with office presence in Hopkins, MN or Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of enterprise application development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes and GraphQL.
• Build secure, high-performance APIs and integration services for enterprise capabilities.
• Leverage LLM concepts and GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cloud-native and AI-assisted development best practices.
