Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a senior Java engineer to join Health100, an AI-native health tech platform unifying pharmacies, providers, insurers, PBMs, and digital health solutions.

You will design and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices in Spring Boot, collaborate across product, architecture, and security teams, and help scale reliable distributed systems. Remote or hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience utilizing Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC in cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.
• 3+ experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Strong skills in relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong foundation in software engineering including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Experience coordinating release cycles and tracking development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical leaders to define designs, roadmaps, and requirements.
• Provide domain knowledge to guide early designs and accelerate decisions.
• Promote engineering excellence to build reliable distributed systems.
• Plot and execute from prototype to production for features.
• Collaborate with business, product, architecture, security, and engineering teams.
• Foster a collaborative culture and support remote teams.
