Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Java Backend Services Developer to own server-side engineering, design, and the full software lifecycle from concept through testing. You will analyze requirements, define system features, and deliver robust Java EE applications in a remote environment.

The role emphasizes Spring Boot, Spring Framework, AWS deployment, and microservices with a focus on OOAD, design patterns, and relational databases.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on JAVA/SpringBoot development experience.
Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
Hands-on experience in deploying applications into AWS.
OOAD using common design patterns.
Experience with the Spring Framework.
Experience in developing web applications using JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.

Responsibilities

Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications, setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
Determine design methodologies and toolsets, completing programming using specified languages and software products.
Deploy applications into AWS environments.
Design and conduct tests to ensure application quality.
Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
