Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Senior Application Developer in Newark, DE (Hybrid) to translate business needs into solid Java/J2EE code. You will unit test, support testing cycles, and create proofs of concept for new tech. Deployment support and production planning are included in an agile environment.

Key tech: Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS/Azure, Spring, Cassandra, Kafka, NoSQL, RESTful services, and SQL. Strong Unix/Linux scripting and UI experience with Angular/React are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience with container and cloud tech (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in Spring, Cassandra, Kafka, NoSQL, RESTful services, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate business requirements into application code.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
• Provide development support during testing cycles.
• Create proofs of concept for evaluating new technologies.
• Support deployment and production planning in an agile team.
