Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Java Backend & DevOps Engineer to own scalable backend services and cloud-native platforms. You will design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, while advancing CI/CD pipelines and automation.

You will work across SDLC phases, implement TDD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software and infrastructure improvements in a production-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of Python development.
• Experience with Concurrent Programming concepts.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• DevOps & Infrastructure skills including Linux admin and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Participate in full SDLC activities including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop high-quality, scalable code with TDD practices.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support for critical applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software enhancements.
