Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer in Plano, TX (Hybrid) to lead and contribute across the SDLC. You will develop, test, and maintain software, while guiding architecture and collaborating with business units to align solutions with strategic objectives.

The role emphasizes Spring Boot Java 21, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks; familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and relational databases is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering with GenAI tools across significant deliverables.
• Experience building microservices using Spring Boot and Java 21.
• Containerization experience with OpenShift Containers or similar.
• Proficiency with a modern RIA framework (React/Angular/jQuery).
• Experience with ORM/persistence frameworks (MyBatis/Hibernate/JPA).
• Source control experience with GitHub or similar.
• Knowledge of Maven, TDD, CI, JUnit, Mockito.
• Familiarity with IDEs (Eclipse or IntelliJ).
• Experience with at least one RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC.
• Front-end web development skills (JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, AJAX, SASS).

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications.
• Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and architecture teams for implementation solutions.
• Create prototypes to prove design concepts.
• Prepare UML diagrams describing current and future state.
• Coordinate with external teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Provide guidance to project managers on critical issues.
