Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer in Denver, CO to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications that provide Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities. The role emphasizes Java and JavaScript, microservices, Kubernetes, and a strong foundation in modern software practices within a secure environment.

You will work in an Agile team, contribute to the full lifecycle, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.

Qualifications

Proficiency in JavaScript and Java Spring Boot required.
Experience with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
Linux environment development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or graduation from a coding bootcamp.
Minimum 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Security+ within 6 months.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and JavaScript.
Build and enhance Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities for critical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Implement and work with microservices architecture in cloud environments, specifically Kubernetes.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud technologies.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
