Job summary

Citi in Irving, TX is seeking an AVP-level Java Developer to design, build, and maintain backend applications powering financial systems at global scale. You will join a collaborative tech team with strong ownership of your work.

Responsibilities include designing Java/Spring components, delivering REST-based microservices, writing comprehensive tests, and contributing to CI/CD in an Agile environment. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development with Spring
• Deep knowledge of Java core concepts and SOA design
• Experience building and deploying microservices
• Experience with REST-based communications
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile methodologies
• SQL knowledge with Oracle familiarity

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/Spring Boot components
• Build backend services and microservices with REST APIs
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide feedback
• Identify and remediate security and performance issues
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
