VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services. You will work across the full SDLC, implementing RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and data access via Spring Data JPA.

Strong hands-on Java, Spring, and AWS/Linus experience are required, as well as experience with Oracle databases and Tomcat. This role resides in McLean, VA, and demands a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java ecosystems.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for web applications.
• Write clean, scalable Java code and implement automated tests.
• Work with AWS, Linux, Tomcat, and relational/non-relational databases.
• Participate in SDLC activities and code reviews.
