Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and RESTful microservices. You will work with Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms to deliver scalable backend solutions.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and architects, ensure secure, reliable deployments, and contribute to CI/CD practices across on-premises or cloud environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
6+ years of IT experience.
4+ years of development experience.
Strong Java development experience with Java 11/17+.
Experience with Spring Boot preferred.
Experience developing scalable RESTful microservices preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand use cases and requirements.
Design, develop, and deliver backend code and APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers for integration.
Deploy and manage applications in cloud or on-premises environments.
Monitor performance and support security hardening and disaster recovery.
Promote CI/CD and test-driven development practices.
