Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across the full SDLC. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and GCP.

The role emphasizes modern engineering practices, including TDD, CI/CD, REST APIs and microservices, with opportunities to mentor teammates and lead technical initiatives within client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL and GCP.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with TDD, CI, and CD.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business requirements and user needs.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions using modern development tools, frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
• Evaluate requirements and determine technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
• Design high-level software architecture and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement software testing strategies and best practices.
• Improve application performance and development efficiency through new technologies.
• Follow TDD, CI, and CD practices.
• Support security best practices including data encryption and anonymization.
• Develop user-friendly front-end applications.
• Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance solutions.
• Design, develop, and deliver new features.
• Perform technical design, coding, automated testing, documentation, and production support.
• Ensure high-quality code through CI, testing, and code reviews.
• Develop test plans and support continuous releases.
• Contribute to automation initiatives that improve software delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with engineering teams.
