Job summary

EPAM Systems in the United States seeks a Java Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services while supporting a modern web frontend (Angular/TypeScript). Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience, with senior engineer exposure in Banking or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ with strong OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data and/or Quarkus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java 8+ with Spring Boot/Spring ecosystem (and/or Quarkus).
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs with proper contracts, versioning, and documentation.
• Implement persistence using JPA/Hibernate and SQL Server, and build integration flows with Apache Camel.
