Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions while mentoring an engineering team. You will ensure best practices across architecture, QA, and agile processes, guiding the project lifecycle and technology direction for agentic systems.

The role requires leadership in microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless tech, with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven React experience.
• Strong Python development background.
• Node.js experience.
• Deep knowledge of AWS technologies.
• Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures.
• TypeScript proficiency and serverless technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• LLM/AI engineering background, including prompt design, RAG pipelines, and evaluation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; fluent English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop scalable AI solutions.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster innovation and high performance.
• Maintain best practices in AI engineering, QA, and agile methodologies.
