Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design and production-grade code.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages, especially Java.
• Experience building production services in Java/Spring Boot and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code, and reviews code written by others.
• Designs, builds, and maintains Java-based services using Spring Boot with scalable contracts.
• Develops and operates microservices with resiliency, observability, and secure communication.
• Builds, deploys, and supports cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validated outputs.
