Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Consumer & Community Banking API Marketplace team. You will contribute as an experienced member of an agile team, designing and delivering reliable, secure, scalable technology products.

Responsibilities include building production-grade code, supporting architecture decisions, analyzing large data sets for continuous improvement, and embracing AI-assisted development within secure coding practices.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience in design, development, testing and operations.
Experience with full-stack development across Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
Knowledge of SDLC and modern programming languages and database querying.
Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
Exposure to cloud, AI/ML, or mobile technologies in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle non-routine problems.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run with supporting systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
Analyze large, diverse data sets to inform continuous improvements of software products.
Identify hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools within the workflow, and validate outputs through review, tests, and secure coding standards.
