Job summary

Synkriya Tech in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Java Architect with 10+ years of hands-on Java development and enterprise architecture experience to design and enhance scalable banking/credit card applications.

You will design enterprise-grade systems, lead backend service development with Spring Boot, and leverage MongoDB and Flowable BPM to implement complex workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and architecture reviews are core parts of the role.

Qualifications

10+ years of Java development and architecture experience.
Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
Credit Card / Banking domain experience – Mandatory.
Experience with MongoDB for data modeling and queries.
Experience with Flowable BPM / enterprise BPM platforms.
Strong understanding of complex Java codebases and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and integrations.
Work with MongoDB for data modeling, persistence and performance.
Implement and maintain workflows using Flowable BPM.
Analyze complex Java codebases and assess enterprise architecture.
Participate in architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and production support.
Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, BAs, and business stakeholders.
