Job summary

Synechron in Pittsburgh seeks a .NET Architect with strong banking domain experience to design secure, scalable, enterprise applications. You will provide technical leadership and collaborate across business, development, security, and infrastructure teams.

The role covers end-to-end architectures for banking platforms, design of microservices and APIs, and guidance to development teams on best practices, with a focus on security, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software, Solution, or Application Architect.
• Prior banking/financial services/fintech/payments experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and EF Core.
• Experience with SQL Server, microservices, design patterns, SOLID, Clean Architecture, and DDD.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API security, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for banking and financial applications.
• Convert business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead architecture decisions, technical design, and solution documentation.
• Guide development teams and review designs and code.
• Design microservices, REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Work on payments, core banking, loans, digital banking, KYC/AML, and fraud management.
