Job summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to design, create, and implement Java-based solutions spanning from mobile applications to database programming, within a global consulting environment.

You will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, optimize performance, ensure high availability, and collaborate with peers to deliver scalable, secure software for financial services projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and understanding of its ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of OOP patterns and concepts.
• Familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
• Experience writing reusable Java libraries.
• Knowledge of Java concurrency patterns.
• Understanding of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services basics.
• Experience with GUI frameworks like Swing/SWT/AWT as required.
• Experience in database schema design supporting business processes.
• Understanding of JVM concepts, limitations, and workarounds.
• Experience implementing automated testing and unit tests.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with build tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle.
